Daily Prompt: Second Time Around

Tell us about a book you can read again and again without getting bored — what is it that speaks to you?

A book I can read again and again without getting bored? There is a book called ‘Chicken Soup’. The book is complied of many different love stories. A love story of a friends, family, strangers and etc. I really enjoy reading it because those stories have their own teaching in themselves. I’ll just briefly talk about one story in that book I’ve read.

There were a boy and a girl in a high school in the states. The boy is the captain of the basketball team whereas a girl is just a bookworm. The girl is new to school, and on her first day she didn’t know the directions. She the bumped into the boy, she then asked the direction she wanted to go. The boy found the girl attractive and from that moment the boy started to like the girl. Before the girl entered the school, this boy always goes to the gym to practice basketball. But since the girl came, he skipped the practice and chose to be with the girl. Ad the time goes by, they both have a good feeling towards each other. One day, the friends of the boy asked why he didn’t practice basketball and was it because of the girl. He then said no, he had his own business. Then from that day onwards, he stopped meeting the girl. THe girl was so curious about what she did wrong. She then decided to write a letter to him. She gained her courage and read the letter out in front of the boy. Then she walked away. The boy then realized how much he loved her. But then it was too late.
